NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Details of the murder of a 26-year-old Lakewood woman came out at a news conference Wednesday.

Janet Tyburski, 45, was arrested at her suburban home on Tuesday, May 5.

Police say she killed her daughter, Rachele Tyburski, inside the same home she shared with Rachele and her son.

Rachele's body was then dumped in a field in North Ridgeville.

Police say interviews and surveillance video along Lorain Avenue are what led them to suspect Janet in her daughter's death.

"Several pieces of evidence led us to this successful conclusion, and you're right video, video surveillance video did help," said Lorain County Coroner Stephen Evans.

They believe Rachele was murdered on March 13 and dumped on March 15.

After Rachele's body was found, police say her mother identified her.

According to Evans, Rachele's body showed signs of blunt force trauma, and it is believed she was suffocated.

Police say part of their investigation also centers on whether or not someone helped Janet Tyburski move Rachele's body.

Janet Tyburski was arraigned in Elyria Municipal Court.  She pleaded not guilty and the judge did not set a bond.
