Two Cleveland men are locked up in jail after an incident that involved Walgreens and one of the suspects pants.

Officers were dispatched to a Mayfield Rd. store after receiving a call about dental hygiene products being stolen.

Until police joined him, the manager followed the suspect from the store on foot and watched him climb over fences through several back yards on Sheffield Rd.

After the suspect noticed he was being followed he took off his pants, which had the stolen merchandise in the pockets, and got into a van being driven by another man.

Another driver, who happened to be riding down the street, offered police a ride and they eventually spotted the van on South Green Rd near Edmond.

Both men were arrested.

The theft suspect, 49, has 110 prior criminal convictions. The driver of the vehicle, 53, was charged with several traffic related offenses, in addition to being in possession of a suspected crack cocaine pipe.
