On the two-year anniversary of their miraculous rescue, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight are celebrating their freedom from a decade-long nightmare.

Earlier in the day on Seymour Avenue, there was a rally for victims of violence

Michelle Knight smiled and posed for pictures while spending the evening at the Music Box Supper Club in the Flats to raise money for The MetroHealth Foundation. More than 100 people attended the event, including the Cleveland police officers who rescued Knight.

"Hope is endless possibility. Don't dwell on the past and don't give up 'cause the hope is inside of you. Amen," said Knight. "I want to say tonight to everyone who has helped and to my hometown: I am forever grateful."

Knight was especially grateful to everyone who donated to the Cleveland Courage Fund.

"It just made me break down in tears when I first found out that people were donating to my funding," she said.

The scars are still healing and Knight is still celebrating her freedom every day. As she moves on, she aims to live life to the fullest.
