Actress Monica Potter celebrated her birthday with breast cancer patients at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center on Tuesday.

The Cleveland-native actress, who starred in Patch Adams, Con Air, Along Came a Spider, Saw, and the recently-concluded network drama Parenthood, launched a Cleveland-based cosmetics and home products company, Monica Potter Home, in the fall. Her first retail client is the UH Seidman gift shop.

Potter spent the day greeting customers who bought her products, taking a tour of the Breen Breast Health Pavilion, and visiting breast cancer patients, dropping off gifts from her company.

Potter's Parenthood character, Kristina Braverman, battled breast cancer in season four of the series.
