Matthew Dellavedova and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a contract that would keep fan favorite "Delly" in a Cavs uniform.
Per Dave McMenamin (@mcten) "Matthew Dellavedova will return to the Cavs on a one-year deal worth approximately $1.2 million, source w/ knowledge of the deal tells ESPN."
Dellavedova played in 67 games in the 2014-15 regular season, averaging 4.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 20.6 minutes. He appeared in all 20 games in the 2015 Playoffs, starting seven games in place of injured Kyrie Irving and averaged 7.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 24.9 minutes per game.
Dellavedova caught steam in the Finals when Irving went down. Dellavedova held league MVP in check for the only two Cavs victories in the NBA Finals.
