Carrasco tosses one-hitter, as Tribe wins third straight

St. Petersburg, FL - Carlos Carrasco took a no-hitter into the 9th, before losing it with two outs, but the Indians still held on for an 8-1 win over the Rays, their third straight win.

Carrasco, who's the third straight Indians pitcher to take a perfect game into the 6th inning, fanned 13 along the way, and was set to become the first Indians pitcher to toss a no-hitter since Len Barker back in 1981, before Joey Butler broke up the bid with a two-out, RBI single in the 9th.

Brandon Moss racked up 5 RBI's for the Tribe, including a 3-run homer in the 8th to blow the game open.
