19 Action News gets action after exposing an ambulance emergency in the city of Cleveland.
We've learned that all 18 city ambulances are back on the road.
24 hours ago, 19 Action News Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor found the city using EMS supervisor SUVs instead of ambulances because many of the emergency vehicles were broken down.
Taylor caught up with EMS Commissioner Nicole Carlton on Friday.
"Is it just ambulances on the road or are you're using SUVs," Taylor asked.
"I have 18 ambulances... no SUVs," Carlton replied.
Cleveland has four new ambulances ordered, but they won't arrive until 2016.
Until then, the city has purchased two refurbished ambulances.
Those should arrive in a couple of months.
