PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - The Perry Township Police Department has issued a Missing Adult Alert for 81-year-old Dorothy Hyde in the following regions:
Central & East Lakeshore, Youngstown, East Central Ohio, which includes the following counties: Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Guernsey, Holmes, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, and Wayne.
Authorities say she suffers from memory loss and was last seen leaving her residence on Cadbury St in Massillon around 5 p.m.
Hyde's family says she was headed to a church picnic around 1 p.m. and was spotted in Canton South on Baum Road in Stark County. According to her grand-daughter, Hyde's debit card was used at a Conneaut gas station, where she was seen on surveillance video around 4:30 a.m. A couple of hours later she says her grandmother's van was reported driving recklessly in Tytusville, PA. Family members say this behavior is out of character for Hyde and her cellphone is not on. No one has been able to make contact with her
