Well kept homes are a good sign of a strong, vibrant community. In a city built to house nearly a million people at one point, Cleveland fell on hard times, especially, during the height of the foreclosure crisis.

Many neighborhoods are still riddled with abandoned and dilapidated houses. My guest has been and continues to be in the forefront of the battle to save struggling neighborhoods in Greater Cleveland.

Jim Rokakis served on Cleveland city council for many years and is now the director of the Thriving Communities Institute. He's a national expert of the foreclosure crisis.
