STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

Authorities need your help identifying a suspect in a recent hit-skip.

On July 2 around 3:30 p.m., the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a hit-skip crash occurred on state Route 44 south of U.S. Route 62 in Nimishillen Township.

According to OSHP, a 2015 Honda Shadow motorcycle was traveling southbound on SR 44 when a pickup truck failed to yield the right of way from a Marathon gas station, causing the motorcycle to crash. The truck then fled northbound on SR 44.

The motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The pickup truck is described as a newer model, gray Chevrolet Silverado crew cab.

Surveillance footage was obtained prior to the crash, showing an older white male with gray hair and glasses, who is believed to be the driver of the Silverado.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or suspect is asked to contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 330-433-6200.
