CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has announced the capture of fugitive Craig Wilson.

Wilson was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and Cleveland Police Department in connection to a homicide. Authorities believe on June 23 in Arbor Park, Wilson fired numerous rounds at a victim, killing him at the scene.

Officials quickly named Wilson as the suspect. He was featured as Fugitive of the Week and part of the U.S. Marshal's Dangerous Dozen soon after.

On Sunday around 7 a.m., the task force arrested 28-year-old Wilson in the 10800 block of Mt. Carmel in Cleveland.

"Hard work by law enforcement and a strong partnership with the community is why Craig Wilson is behind bars today. Information received from people in the community is one of our most valuable resources, and we will continue to seek it out to help solve cases," said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.
