Chapin Berk is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and operation without being in reasonable control.
Berk will appear in Lyndhurst Municipal Court on July 23.
On May 14, police say Berk was driving a Jeep Cherokee on County Line Road with three other seniors, when he lost control and slammed into a tree.
Berk was uninjured in the crash.
