NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OH (WOIO) - According to Elyria Municipal Court records, the male suspect accused of shooting a woman before taking his own life was recently charged with gross sexual imposition and intimidation.
65-year-old Timothy Hoff of Laurel Circle in North Ridgeville was hit with the gross sexual imposition charges on July 13, stemming from an incident that happened in June. He was charged on Friday with the intimidation charges, in relation to an incident that happened July 15. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Hoff is accused of killing 62-year-old Donna Roode on Saturday, before fatally shooting himself.. Police say a woman called 911 to report that her mother had been shot. Officers found two dead bodies in the Laurel Circle home, Roode and Hoff. Police did not disclose the nature of their relationship.
Court records did not specify the circumstances behind the Hoff's charges. A call to North Ridgeville Police was not immediately returned.
