JEFFREYS BAY, SOUTH AFRICA (RNN) - The J-Bay Open in South Africa called off events on Sunday after Australian pro- surfer Mick Fanning clashed with a shark during competition. According to reports, Fanning was competing against fellow Australian Julian Wilson when the clash happened. The footage showed the shark as it approached Fanning - appearing to knock him off his board. Thankfully Fanning, 34,  was unharmed and spoke out about it the incident.

CUTCHOGUE, NY (Stringer News Service/CNN) - Four women were killed and two others seriously injured after a truck crashed into the side of a limousine Saturday evening.The truck T-boned the limo as it was attempting to make a U-Turn. Three of the women died on impact and another died at the hospital. Two additional women are in critical condition. The women were part of a bachelorette party, according to WCBS, and the prospective bride was among the injured.The limo driver is expected to survive. The driver of the truck had cuts on his face and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
