Just as telephones and television revolutionized the communications industry, a telehealth station called Healthspot is expected to do wonders when it comes to treating acute healthcare illnesses.

"We only treat certain types of conditions, which are acute types, upper respiratory infections, rashes things like that," said Lisa Maughan, VP of Marketing with Healthspot.

The Healthspot kiosks are at RiteAid stores in 25 test markets around Ohio.  Healthspot has partnered with not only Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals but Kettering Health Network as well.

"It's dependable and reliable," said Peter Jeong, APRN.

With interactive thermometers, stethoscopes and mini cameras doctors can see exactly what's wrong and patients and offer a prescription to feel better.

"It's almost better than your eye because it's magnified in high definition," said Jeong.
