CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

A couple of employees at Coventry Children's Center in Cleveland Heights pled not guilty at their arraignment Tuesday.

Catherine McGraw, 36, and LaShonda Mollica, 45, are charged with child endangerment after a two-year-old boy and a four-year-old boy left the daycare and were found walking near the intersection of Coventry and Euclid. Authorities say the workers didn't even notice they were missing until police officers returned them.

According to investigators, while two teachers supervised a class of 10 students, somehow the boys were able to wander away without anyone knowing. Parents estimate they were on their own for 40 minutes.

The incident happened earlier this month.

McGraw is being held on a $5000 bond and Mollica is being held on a $3000 bond.

Both are expected back in court on August 18.

The department of Children and Family Services is also looking into the incident.

It's unclear if the daycare itself will be disciplined.
