Police: Woman found dead at 'The 9' identified

We now know the name of the woman found dead at the "Metropolitan at The 9".

The body of 53-year-old Sandra Maia-Cohen was found at the hotel in downtown Cleveland Tuesday, July 21, just before 1 p.m.

Officers were responding to a wellness check for Maia-Cohen from family members when she was discovered.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry into her hotel room and she had no apparent injuries.

Maia-Cohen had left her home on July 2, 2015 and had been staying at the hotel. 

Maia-Cohen was from New York and according to Facebook, she graduated from Marshall University and then completed her residency at OSU in 1995.
She worked at PLUS Diagnostics in Twinsburg as a dermatologist.

Her cause of death has not been released.
