WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - One of the suspects in the death of 18-year-old Elizabeth Marie O'Brien at the Econo Lodge hotel last Friday pleads not guilty. The judge set bond at $500,000.
Police arrested 18-year-old Octavius Hudson, of Cleveland, at his home on Wednesday without incident.
The second identified suspect, 19-year-old Marcellus Lawrence Webster, also known as "Ali," is still at large.
"We would like to thank the public and the media for the their assistance in helping us apprehend our first suspect," said Chief of Police Wesley Haynes. "We are still asking for the public's cooperation to locate the second male involved in last week's shooting."
Webster is described as a black male, standing 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
On July 17, Warrensville Heights Police responded to a shooting at the Northfield Road Econo Lodge around 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, police discovered O'Brien's body. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner later ruled the cause of death as a result of a gunshot wound.
