Deadly Movie Theatre Shooting/Harley-Davidson Recall/Another Perfect Wx Day

(RNN) – Three people have died in a theater shooting during a showing of Trainwreck in Lafayette, LA. The shooting occurred at 7:30 p.m. CT at the Grand 16 Theater after 20 minutes into the movie.  According to Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft, the shooter and two victims died. Ten people in total were shot. The other victims' injuries range from non-life-threatening to critical. Authorities have confirmed that three victims are in critical condition. City Marshal Brian Pope told The Daily Advertiser that the shooter committed suicide after the incident. According to Sgt. Brooks David of the Louisiana State Police, the shooter, a 58-year-old white male, was a patron at the theater. Additionally, David added that he believed the shooter acted alone using a type of handgun. Authorities know the identity of the shooter, but they are not releasing his name at this time. Craft said the shooter had a criminal background. "He does have a criminal history," he said. DETROIT (AP) - Harley-Davidson is recalling more than 185,000 motorcycles in the U.S. because the saddlebags can come loose and fall off, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers certain 2014 and 2015 Road King, Street Glide, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Ultra Limited, Police Road King, Police Electra Glide and CVO Ultra Limited bikes. Also affected are 2014 CVO Road King and the 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low, Ultra Limited Low, Road Glide, CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide Ultra motorcycles. Harley says it found the problem through warranty claims and traced it to mounting hardware. Dealers will replace the hardware free of charge starting July 27.
