On Thursday around 11 a.m., the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Robert Bradley in Hattiesburg, MS.

Bradley was wanted for an attempted homicide out of Shaker Heights. On April 24, Shaker Heights Police say Bradley brutally beat and sodomized a woman and then threatened to kill her. Officers removed four handguns from Bradley’s home after the incident.

Bradley was tracked by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force to Mississippi, where the Gulf Coast team took over the investigation. After a short standoff with police, Bradley was taken into custody in the 100 block of Taylor Road in Hattiesburg.

“People who commit heinous crimes like this will be found. Fugitives think they can outrun us, but the long arm of justice will reach them and bring them back to answer for their crimes," said Assistant Chief Brian Fitzgibbon.
