Dairy Queen representatives from various stores visited University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital on Monday to pass out free blizzards and sugar-free treats to patients and their families.

After, they sold blizzards in the hospital's atrium for $5. All proceeds benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

This year marks Dairy Queen's 75th year in business. Dairy Queen has donated more than $1 million to Rainbow Babies through fundraising efforts.

Monday's event was also planned to raise awareness for Dairy Queen's upcoming Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, when participating stores will donate $1 or more from every blizzard purchased to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. To date, more than $100 million has been raised through donations.
