TONIGHT AT 6: Deadly accident, Accused gunman faces judge

A freak accident claimed the life of an Amherst woman. A young driver lost control and slammed into a house, killing the woman inside and trapping her five-month-old baby. We'll tell you about the rescue and the quick-thinking neighbor who literally lifted the car right off of them.

Plus, the suspect in yesterday's shootings in the Lake Metroparks went before Judge Michael Cicconetti today. A woman shot while walking with two children is going to be okay, but hearts are heavy for the woman shot and killed at a home nearby. Police identify her as Peggy Kostelnik, the assistant to the Mayor of Willoughby.
