11th annual Warehouse District Street Festival set for Sunday

The 11th Annual Warehouse District Street Festival will take place on Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. on West Sixth Street from Frankfort to Lakeside and beyond onto St. Clair. The festival offers people of all ages and cultures a fun-filled experience in downtown Cleveland.

Enjoy a variety of activities, including an art show featuring local artists, residential open houses, children's games, contests, plus interactive sports fun with reps from the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Gladiators and Lake Erie Monsters.

Popular local bands from nearly every genre of music, such as blues, country, 80s soft rock, salsa and jazz, will perform in two staging areas throughout the day. Street performers, including robots, face painters, magicians and balloon artists, will stroll the streets.

Adding to the festivities and excitement this year will be the Jasmine Dragons, whose aerialists and acrobats will delight the audience in a thrilling show.

Food is essential to the festival, which is why guests can sample an impressive variety provided by the diverse restaurants and clubs located in the Warehouse District. Choose from Lebanese, Italian, Greek, Brazilian, Japanese, Mexican, American, vegetarian or seafood.

Admission is free. Parking is available for $2 at ABM Parking Services lots located on West Sixth and West Ninth.
