The man found dead in the front yard on Hopkins Avenue has been identified. Cleveland's Fifth District investigating the death of a man found dead Sunday around 2:30 a.m.
Officers were dispatched to the 11300 block of Hopkins Avenue for shots fired. The victim, Charles Jenkins, 34, was found lying on the front lawn unresponsive.
Responding officers immediately began administering first aid and requested EMS. EMS rushed the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Then Homicide Unit was notified and also responded.
No suspects have been arrested for the crime.
