No suspect after man killed in east side drive-by shooting

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a 21-year-old male that happened around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of Strandhill Road. 

Fourth District Officers responded to a call for a male shot. Upon arrival, police and EMS located the unresponsive victim laying on the sidewalk. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The homicide unit was notified and responded. 

Preliminary investigation reveals the victim was standing outside when a dark vehicle pulled up and an occupant inside fired a shot. The victim was struck and fell to the ground. The suspect vehicle then fled the area. 

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will identify the victim. 

Currently, there is no vehicle or suspect description available.
