The 2015 Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk, presented by Minute Men Staffing Services, took place on Saturday, August 15, at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland.
Judging from the crowd, it may have been a record number of attendees.
More than 4000 people were expected to gather at Progressive Field for the wheel friendly 1-mile walk to celebrate and support individuals with Down syndrome.
The Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk stepped off at 10 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m.

19 Action News Tony & Denise Zarrella were on hand for the celebration as honorary event chairs.
"Tony and I look forward to the Buddy Walk every year because it is such a great way to recognize and celebrate our love for our daughter Gianna, as well as the thousands of others everywhere who have Down syndrome. It is such an empowering event that raises awareness and opens our eyes to the overwhelming amount of support that's out there. It's the one day a year where hundreds of our kids and adults with Down syndrome in Northeast Ohio, take center stage in one location, and we're all there to cheer them on! Can't wait to see everyone there!" says Denise Zarrella
"We love being a part of this event! There's just a great energy, and seeing the joy on so many faces, as we celebrate our loved ones with Down syndrome, warms our hearts," says Tony Zarrella.
This family-friendly event offers food, beverages and entertainment for everyone.
