Cleveland Police say a man injured Saturday morning after he was walking in the middle of the street remains in critical condition.
The incident happened at 1:35 a.m. on August 15, in the area north of E. 131st Street just south of Hlavin Ave.
Officers say Leonard Bell, 52, was first struck as the driver of a 2007 Dodge Charger that was headed northbound was changing lanes.
Somehow Bell jumped on the left front fender of the moving car and struck the windshield, rolling off onto the street.
While on the ground, a 2004 Dodge Stratus heading north on E. 131st St. then ran over Bell, causing life-threatening injuries.
Bell continues to recover at MetroHealth Medical Center.
