BACK TO SCHOOL: Cleveland barbers give free haircuts

It's that time of year again-- back to school.  And with a new school year comes back to school expenses for parents, some of whom are struggling to make sure their children return with a positive self-image.

So some of Cleveland's most talented barbers will be in one place to give back to the community.

Hone Barber College and Sam Sylk partnered with a group of hometown heroes called The Brothers, to give free haircuts and a positive image on Sunday, August 16.

The event will be taking place at three locations.  The first two end earlier than the premiere event.  From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Outliners in Bedford at 617 Northfield Rd. and Against the Grain located at 5160 Warrensville Center Rd. in Maple Heights boys can receive the free service.

In addition to the free haircuts, free school supplies will also be given away.

The Hone Barber College is going a bit further with the third location by calling on former graduates to share their talent at the college for this worthy affair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The college is located at 5670 Dunham Rd Maple Heights.

The Hone Barber College says this is only a pawn for the overall goal which is to show the young lads some love and to combat negative imagery that they are constantly being bombarded with.
