SUMMIT COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Jurors in the trial of Michael Hendon have a chance Tuesday morning to see the scene where most of the evidence was collected during the 2013 Barberton triple murder investigation.
Brothers Michael and Eric Hendon are accused of murdering a family on New Year's Eve. Prosecutors say the pair shot and killed John Kohler and his two children, Ashley and David, in their Barberton home. John's girlfriend Ronda Blankenship was also shot, but survived.
Earlier this month Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Corrigall-Jones ruled Michael Hendon is 'intellectually disabled' and cannot face the death penalty if convicted.
Eric's trial is scheduled to begin October 13.
