WASHINGTON (WOIO) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch need the public's help finding a suspect wanted in connection with Saturday's homicide that happened around 4:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of Seventh Street NW.

Police say an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Marcus King, of Northwest Washington, DC, charges him with second degree murder while armed, in the shooting death of 23-year-old Matthew Shlonsky.

Detectives released surveillance video of six people and two vehicles of interest days after the fatal shooting. Police believe the same people are also responsible for other crimes.

If you see this suspect, call police at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department's text tip line by texting 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information, which leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
