CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The excitement was contagious outside of the Q Friday night. For a lot of fans, this was really a "bucket list" moment to see the country music legend perform live.

Hundreds of fans converged between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. as one concert let out and more fans piled in for the next show. There was a lot of traffic, but it kept moving pretty steadily.

It was a sea of cowboy boots, hats and plaid shirts downtown.

Garth Brooks performed along with his wife, Tricia Yearwood, who joined him on stage.

We saw a lot of dedicated fans, and many of them couldn’t stop singing.

“I’m so excited, I have so many ‘friends in low places’ right now,” said Tammy Wilson.

“I said if Garth Brooks ever came with a concert, I’d see him. I don’t care how much the tickets are, I’ve be waiting a long time to see Garth Brooks,” said Cassie Lundgard.

Garth Brooks will perform another double header show Saturday night at the Q, one at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. the public is advised that in addition to limited parking availability in the area, peak traffic congestion is anticipated the hour between the conclusion of the first show and the start of the second show, 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., as fans are trying to exit and enter The Q.

Fans should expect delays in the area and plan arrival accordingly.
