CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Westlake Schools challenged Lakewood Schools to a "Food Fight" to see who can collect the most food for the May Dugan Center during their homecoming week.

The donations were dropped off at the Dugan Center on Saturday morning, with Westlake as the clear winner. But many would say that everyone is a winner in this story.

According to the Dugan Center, the food collected will be enough to provide 10,000-12,000 meals for those in need. This will get them through the rest of the year.

Founded in 1969, the May Dugan center has been providing food, education, health & wellness, mental health counseling, and other community programs for those in need.
