CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Travelers have been dealing with long lines at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for months, and now the wait could get longer.
Checkpoint B was closed Monday at the airport. That's the checkpoint in the middle of the airport entrance.
It will be closed for about two weeks to undergo some construction.
Now checkpoints A and C will have pre-check and standard check-in.
Other changes this week include; United, Air Canada and JetBlue ticket counters were moved to the far south end of the ticketing level.
And the Red and Blue Lots were closed due to our Parking Canopy Project and will not reopen until spring. The Smart Parking Garage, Orange and Brown Lots will remain open during the construction project.
The airport construction is expected to conclude in May of 2016. The project will modernize and upgrade the airport's departures-level ticketing lobby and facade.
