10-year-old victim honored with gift from Cleveland Council

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A special honor Monday night at the Cleveland City Council meeting.

David Turner of First Energy presented 10-year-old Dante Padgett and his family tickets to the Browns game against the Denver Broncos this weekend.

Dante and his father were shot on Sept. 19, when a gunman opened fire on the pair as they rode in a vehicle on Martin Luther King Drive at Shaker Blvd.

Dante's father did not survive.

So far, no arrests have been made.
