CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The U.S. Marshals have made an arrest in connection to the September 27th deadly shooting on E. 4th Street.
Daniel Wingfield, who was apprehended by The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force-Akron Division, along with the Akron Police Department.
He was taken into Friday night around 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of Tarson Terrace in Akron. Also found at the scene was a loaded revolver.
Wingfield, one of two fugitives wanted in the incident, was booked into the Summit County Jail.
He was run the Fugitive of the Week (FoW) this past Monday.
One suspect, Christopher Smith (also run as the FoW on Monday), still remains at large.
U.S. Marshals say if it were not for the Fugitive of the Week partnership Wingfield would still be on the street.
