Police are investigating multiple bomb threats called in to area schools and daycares.
Brunswick police say a robo call sent out the bomb threats to Hickory Ridge Elementary School in Brunswick, as well as schools and daycares in Mansfield, Medina Township, Twinsburg, Garfield Heights and Butler County near Cincinnati.
The call happened around 10 a.m. and the caller used a computer-generated voice.
In Brunswick, all Hickory Ridge students were evacuated and taken to the high school performing arts center.
In Medina Township, the threat came into the Creative Early Center on Victor Drive. The daycare was evacuated for about an hour and a half.
In Mansfield, the threat came into Sherman Elementary School. Students were evacuated to the Springmill Learning Center.
In Garfield Heights, the threat came into the Creative Early Learning Center. This also closed the I-480 ramps at Transportation Boulevard until 2 p.m.
Police were called to all schools and daycares.
Nothing was found and no arrests were made at any location.
Police have received calls from the FBI and Homeland Security offering assistance with the investigation.
