CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Browns teamed up with United Way to tackle a playground project for "Hometown Huddle," which is a nationwide day of service for NFL teams and local United Way chapters.

More than 15 players showed up to build a playground at Dike School of the Arts in Cleveland.

Before today, the school did not have a play structure for the 300+ pre-K through sixth-grade students.

Several local businesses donated equipment, money and food, to make this day of service a success.

FirstEnergy Corp. donated $10,000 to the 17th annual Hometown Huddle. Ten FirstEnergy linemen also joined linemen from the Browns to build the playground. Petitti Garden Centers donated autumn florals for the playground, and Sherwin-Williams donated paint for the 2015 Hometown Huddle.
