CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

It's been 10 days since LeBron James received an anti-inflammatory shot in his lower back, and the Cavaliers star has yet to return to practice. On Friday, James would not rule out receiving another shot in his back, and could not guarantee that he'll be ready to go in the season opener in Chicago next Tuesday.

"If everything goes right, we still feel like we're progressing really well, and if we can continue to do that, I'm optimistic I'll be able to go", James said following his teammates' workout.

This comes just a few days after both General Manager David Griffin and Head Coach David Blatt expressed confidence that James will amp up his work load by the end of the week, and be cleared to play on Tuesday.
