CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 24-year-old Charles Weathers Jr.
He was found in a field on Sunday morning around 5:15 in the 11600 block of Honeydale Ave. in Cleveland.
Police report that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body.
EMS pronounced him dead at the scene of the shooting.
Weathers was walking in the area with his girlfriend when they heard multiple shots fired.
The woman ran and the victim was shot.
At this time, there is no suspect information available.
Detectives are working to find out if the gunman was in a car or on foot.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Officer will determine final cause of death.
