COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

A 24-year-old Coventry man is facing drug charges after the Summit County Sheriff's Office made a major drug bust on Monday.

After receiving an anonymous tip that marijuana trafficking may have been occurring at a residence, the Summit County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at 42 Elora Avenue in Coventry Township.

The sheriff's office says several pounds of marijuana packed for sale, scales, more than $40,000 in cash, suspected cocaine, and a firearm were seized from the residence. 

Dexter Cooley was arrested for trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony, and taken to the Summit County Jail. Additional charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
