The Cavaliers did much more than just bounce back from an opening night loss. They stormed out of the gate down in Memphis, and rolled past the Grizzlies, 106-76, splitting their first two on the road to open the season. More importantly, they didn't need much from LeBron James, who spent part of Tuesday's opener in Chicago laying on the court to ease his back pain.
On Wednesday, LeBron limited his minutes to 31, and scored only 12 points.
Kevin Love led the way with a double-double for the Cavs, scoring 17-points and grabbing 13-rebounds. Richard Jefferson and Matthew Dellavedova supplied a strong bench presence, Jefferson with 14-points and Dellavedova with 12.
The Cavaliers head home to host the Miami Heat on Friday.
