ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) - Rocky River police are asking parents and trick-or-treaters to avoid streets where paving is going on.
They say some manhole covers and catch basins are raised and you could trip. They also want kids to stay off construction equipment.
The streets being paved are Argyle Road and Argyle Oval, Elmwood from the railroad to Lake, a western portion of Stratford, Carol Blvd., Pease Drive, Riverview Ave., Rockland and Westover east of Wooster.
Due to the equipment and active construction zones, police are asking people to avoid trick-or-treating on Morewood Parkway from Lake Road to the railroad tracks and Avalon Drive from Wagar Road west to Lake Road.
