CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two suspected gang members accused of targeting women in the suburbs pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday.
Bond was set at $75,000 each for Cornelius Renrick, 24, and Shawn Glasgow, 44. They are two of seven members of the Felony Lane Gang arrested last week in Westlake.
Westlake Police Captain Guy Turner said the gang operated in two teams, the first would break into cars using a Swiss Tech window glass punching device. Then they pass the stolen items to other members who go shopping for merchandise and gift cards.
Their targets are women who may be distracted with kids, or women going to a fitness or recreation center because they know they'll likely be gone for an hour or more.
Five other members of the gang will be arraigned on Wednesday:
David Heller, 21
Victor Ogiste, 24 (wanted out of Ft. Lauderdale)
Joshua Griffith, 24
Breshawn Rumph 23
Oreste LaFontant, 25 (wanted out of GA)
