CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Computer issues at the Portage County Board Of Elections have been resolved and the election results are posted.
An official said the computer problems, which started around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday evening, prevented them from collecting and posting election results.
The issues were not resolved until 12 hours later.
The cause of the issues have yet to be determined.
During the delay, the following message was posted on the Portage County BOE website:
The Portage County Board of Elections is unfortunately unable to release election results at this time due to a server malfunction. We are working closely with our vendor and the Secretary of State's Office to rectify this situation. We will post results as soon as they are available.
