CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - One company claims that the Cleveland Browns have the fourth drunkest fan base in the NFL.
The company BACtrack, which offers a personal breathalyzer that links through your smart phone, has collected blood alcohol levels of its users on football Sundays.
We asked for more specific information on how this was done and by how many users, but the company would not provide us with the exact methodology.
And they're taking blood alcohol content (BAC) levels from anyone in Cleveland using the device, not just football fans.
According to their numbers, the average BAC for Cleveland users on game days is .064, which is below the legal limit.
BACtrack puts Buffalo at the top of their list, followed by Detroit. Philadelphia rounds out the top three.
The company claims the least intoxicated team fan base lives just to our south: the Cincinnati Bengals.
