CHESTER TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

On Saturday, an old-fashioned Amish Quilt and Craft Auction was held at the Metzenbaum Center, known as The Bessie Benner Metzenbaum Center, in Chester Township.

More than 25 handmade Amish quilts, wood furniture, crafts and other items were up for bid.

In addition to the silent auction, there was a Chinese raffle, Amish bakery, and cash-and-carry holiday shop.

The 35th annual fundraiser is sponsored by Families and Friends of the Metzenbaum Center. Proceeds will go to support the children and adults with developmental disabilities served by the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities
