RICHLAND COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

The Richland County Sheriff's Office is looking for information about last weeks kidnapping and bank robbery and they are hoping surveillance video from homes in the area will shed light on what happened.

Authorities are asking any residents who live in the area of Millsboro Road, including Springfield, Sandusky and Troy townships, who have video surveillance of roadways to look for footage from Friday, November 6, 2015 between 5 a.m. – 9 a.m.

If you should happen to have video from those times, please contact the Sheriff's Major Crimes Unit at 419-774-5610 or dispatch at 419-524-2412. Detectives are not concerned whether the video shows the suspect vehicle, they just want to view all activity in that area during those times.

A Richland County a bank manager called 911 and told dispatchers his family had been taken hostage and he was forced to drive to the KeyBank where he worked and get money. The victim says after he gave the suspect around $200,000 his family was released.
