SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

Another wanted man is off the streets.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has announced the arrest of fugitive Tierre Clay.

Clay, 34, was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the South Euclid Police Department for felonious assault. Police say Clay threw a woman down a flight of stairs on August 5, 2015, in the area of Verona Street in South Euclid.

Clay’s arrest was a direct result of a tip from the community. He was taken into custody at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, in the area of East 123rd St. and St. Clair.
