Maple Heights supt. pleads guilty in connection with drunk driving charge

LISBON, OH (WOIO) - Maple Heights Schools Superintendent pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in connection with a summer drunk driving charge.

Dr. Charles Keenan appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court Monday. He pleaded guilty to physical control.

He was given 30 days in jail, 27 of those are suspended, license suspended for 180 days, a $675 fine and probation.

Keenan was pulled over in September on SR 334 in Lisbon.

This is the 48-year-old's first OVI offense.
