SANDUSKY, OH (WOIO) - A Sandusky, Ohio, man saved up for several years to buy his dream car only to have it crushed in minutes.
David Wilhelm told Cleveland 19 that he bought the Chevrolet Corvette on Monday. He owned the car for less than an hour when it was hit by another car.
The crash happened at about 4 p.m. at the corner of Hancock and East Monroe streets in Sandusky.
Police said the driver of a Ford SUV T-boned Wilhelm's Corvette. The 'vette crashed into a pole. The woman was cited for running a red light.
Police said no one was injured in the crash.
